Scott joined Clydesdale Bank in 1985 and worked in Edinburgh, Newcastle and Stirling before moving to Glasgow in 2002 as Regional Business Manager in Commercial Banking.
During his time in Glasgow as Regional Business Manager he was a Director of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
In 2005 he took on the role of Managing Partner for Glasgow Financial Solutions Centre leading a fully integrated team of Commercial, Corporate, Private Banking and Specialist Partners .
Scott moved into the role of Regional Director in North & Central Scotland in 2007, where he was responsible for six Financial Solution Centres, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen.
In 2009 he took on the role of Regional Director for Scotland managing the Business & Private Banking together with the Specialist business.
From mid 2012 he undertook the role of Regional Director East Scotland managing the Small Business, Commercial , Corporate , Acquisition Finance & Private Banking . In addition he was UK lead for Commercial Banking in the UK and managed and lead the UK Industry Sector team.
After leaving Clydesdale Bank in May 2015 Scott started his own business Mckerracher Consulting Ltd and undertook work for 4 businesses including debt structuring ,arranging finance and assisting management teams with strategy. This has been put on the back burner for now.
Scott joined Bank of Scotland in July 2015 as Senior Manager in Glasgow & West Scotland leading our SME team in Commercial banking.
Fellow & Chartered Banker of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
He has four children - Cameron, Loui, David and Natalie.
Hobbies include playing golf & five a side football as well as watching football.
