30 years of tech partnership

Glasgow-based IT, cyber security and business consultancy Waterstons is marking its 30 anniversary in style with throwbacks and giving back.

Launched in 1994, the business is harking back to the 90s with a series of events for the team, clients, suppliers and partners throughout the year that show just how far technology (amongst other things) has come in the past three decades.

With offices in Glasgow, Durham and London, and people-first being one of the company’s core values, the team has pledged to raise £30,000 for charities throughout 2024.

Colin Speirs, Scotland Regional Lead, explained more: “The communities we serve are hugely important to us, and we’re passionate about doing everything we can to support them.

“We’ve always given our time to charities, whether through volunteering or by providing IT help free of charge, but this year is special and we wanted to make an impact.

“All our UK offices voted for four charities – three regional and one national – to support throughout the year, and we’ll be taking on various challenges across the UK including tacking the 3 Peaks in July, in order to meet our goal.”

The Glasgow team has chosen to support Man On! Inverclyde, a suicide prevention and wellbeing charity for the adults and young people of Inverclyde and beyond.
