Throughout Glasgow’s history the city’s businesses have been known as skilled traders and exporters. Here at the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce we want to assist the business community to engage in international trading as much as possible. We have therefore set up an International Trade commission to better understand where Glasgow Chamber of Commerce can help the city region’s companies to grow their business globally.
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has an ongoing role in supporting members with international trade through export trade certification and wider logistical advice. As a Chamber of Commerce we support both Scottish Chambers of Commerce and British Chambers of Commerce, both of whom have existing activities and/or aspirations to help grow international trade including relationships with UKTI. Chambers of Commerce throughout the UK have various levels of activity in encouraging international trade.
The Commission is being led by Craig Kennedy of Crakken Consulting Ltd, and is currently gathering evidence ahead of publishing a Commission Report in 2015. Should you wish to contribute to the Commission then please email firstname.lastname@example.org
