First Aid At Work Requalification Course (2 Days) From: Monday 3 April 2017 09:30 - To: Tuesday 4 April 2017 16:30

This course provides renewal of First Aid at Work Certification before its three-year expiry date. The course is designed to refresh the First Aiders knowledge of first aid procedures and allows instruction on updated practices and guidelines. On successful completion of an assessment, the delegate will be awarded a Health & Safety Executive (HSE) Approved First Aid at Work Certificate.

Effective delegation is the best indicator of effective management simply because it is so fundamental to both personal and organisational growth. Delegation maybe an essential management behaviour but it is not an instinctive human behaviour. The workshop covers delegation from all angles - the what, the how and the when. It explores how to set the individual or team up for success and to have confidence in their ability and capacity to deliver the delegated task or opportunity.

Conflict is a normal and natural aspect of relationships. Because of this we need to find a way to address conflict that is direct and assertive while also respectful and diplomatic. While you can try and avoid conflict, you cannot escape conflict. It can decrease your teams productivity, stifle change and it will find you whether you look for it or not. The workshop covers conflict management from both an individual and team perspective. It explores why conflict happens in the first place, how you can better manage yourself and others during conflict situations.
