From: Wednesday 22 February 2017 09:30 To: Wednesday 22 February 2017 12:30
We live in a world of constant change and our organisations need to constantly adapt to both survive and prosper. The history books are full of stories about businesses that failed to adapt to market developments and change quickly enough. In the best organisations change is constant, managed effectively as part of day-to-day business as the organisation evolves, develops and grows. In the world of business there is no such thing as standing still; you are either going forwards or backwards as your competition continually updates and evolves their approach.
The workshop blends theory and models with real life management experience and practical examples along with group discussions. The main focus is on understanding the impact of change, how to develop a change strategy that maximises the probability of a successful transformation and manage the human aspects of change i.e. the emotions. It will then explore how best to manage your key stakeholders, sustain the change/ new way of working and at the same time help you be comfortable with uncertainty, unpredictability and develop a flexible approach. It is an interactive workshop, blending facilitator input and delegate contribution to drive open dialogue and learning.
- Build your capability and capacity to deal successfully with change and make your organisation/department more agile.
- Maximise the probability of successful business change/transformation.
- Understand the human side of change and know how to help people deal more effectively with change.
- Develop and sustain employee commitment and engagement with the change programme.
- Build and actively manage the contribution of internal and external stakeholders with the delivery of new initiatives and ways of working.
You will have the skills and confidence to lead change in unpredictable environments and manage both the people and process aspects of change to deliver a competitive advantage for your organisation. Change can become the ‘way we work around here’, reducing stress, tension and creating a can do mentality.
