International Trade Forum

International Trade Forum

As many of you will already be aware, Your Chamber holds a quarterly International Trade Forum focusing on exports or opportunities which exist abroad.

Our forum is a platform for discussion, networking and support on issues affecting global trade. The Chamber team arranges to have a speaker at most meetings to present to the group on current issues or market related topics.

Recent statistics have shown that many opportunities exist for Scottish businesses looking to take their operations abroad, with seven out of ten of the predicted fastest growing economies in the world between 2010 and 2015 located in Africa. The Holyrood Government is placing a heavy emphasis on driving exports, hoping to increase exports by 50 per cent in the next four years.

We try to make all our meetings short and punchy, lasting around 1-2 hours.

If you are in a business providing products or services globally, you are warmly invited to attend our meetings, to enjoy and make use of the presentations and to network with like minded people.

Refreshments are provided at each meeting so that delegates can network together in a convivial atmosphere and share experiences.
