Seren joined Glasgow Chamber in 2019 as International Trade Executive, in order to increase and strengthen Scottish exports. With exciting global partnerships being made across the worldwide Chamber network, Seren works to explore the potential opportunities for Scottish companies across a range of key sectors among Scotland’s priority markets. Her role includes organising both local and international Trade Missions, meeting with international delegations, performing market research & analysis, as well as identifying new international business opportunities.
Prior to this, Seren worked for the British Heart Foundation as a graduate on their Management Development Programme in the retail sector (specifically in the Furniture and Electrical side of the charity). She graduated from Strathclyde University in 2018 with an integrated masters in International Business with Spanish and French. As part of her degree, Seren spent a year in Santiago, Chile working with an international consultancy firm that worked with foreign businesses interested in investing into the South American market. Along with her studies, this is where her interest in international trade began.
In her spare time, she loves playing sports, particularly rock climbing and being outdoors in the mountains, as well as travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
