In November 2021 all eyes were on Glasgow as COP26 host, with governments, businesses and NGOs coming together to make commitments to address climate change.
Climate Chamber is our green and circular movement designed to progress the ambitions of COP26 and ensure that the summit results in genuine change, strong international relationships and long-term benefits for our city, members and young people.

We’ve been committed to supporting and enabling actions to tackle climate change through our Circular Glasgow initiative and have been working alongside our Team Glasgow partners to oversee Glasgow’s ambitions for achieving net zero carbon by 2030 and becoming a circular city by 2045.
Climate Chamber will drive forward the ambitions to be this change. Through Congress of Business, Climate Chamber City and My Climate Path initiatives and our ongoing Circular Glasgow work, we are proactively connecting our members to green and circular opportunities and working to ensure the best legacy for our city and local businesses.

COP26 Highlights
Under the theme "Action Builds Hope," Congress of Business (COB) is a pivotal hybrid climate event created on behalf of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and British Chambers of Commerce national and international networks.
Hosted this May in Glasgow, the legacy city of COP26, COB aims to scale action by businesses and cities in response to the climate pacts established during the conference.

Climate Chamber City is a global community of leading sustainable and circular businesses seeking to connect like-minded businesses to enable them to trade with impact and unite to tackle climate change.
A legacy project following our COP26 Climate Chamber Mission, the city aims to promote trade, innovation and build unity between international companies seeking global expansion.
An initiative of Glasgow Chamber, Circular Glasgow aims to position our ‘Dear Green Place’ as a leading circular economy city by encouraging organisations to adopt innovation, design and circular thinking.
Working closely with partners including Glasgow City Council and Zero Waste Scotland, the Circular Glasgow team has been working with Glasgow businesses and listening to their needs in relation to the way we live, work, produce and consume.
Harnessing the potential of innovative design and technology to drive sustainability in business, it has engaged with leaders in the circular economy from the Netherlands, London and across the globe to change policy and create the tools to support businesses to become circular economy leaders.
Connecting, learning and collaborating are all instrumental in the transition to a circular economy. The Circular Glasgow Network aims to bring together entrepreneurs, innovators and circular economy enthusiasts from across the city to connect, share knowledge and ultimately find ways to future-proof their business.
