Women Returning to STEM: Networking and Sharing for Employers event

Equate Scotland invite you to attend their Women Returning to STEM networking event for employers on Tuesday 16 January 2018 from 5.45 pm - 8.00 pm in the James Weir Building at the University of Strathclyde.

The event aim is to celebrate the success of the first cohort of Equate’s Women Returners Programme and hear stories from our partner employers, including EDF Energy and Eurofins Biopharma, and women returners now working for them in STEM roles. There will be an opportunity to network, with Minister for Training and Employability Jamie Hepburn MSP, all Equate Scotlands employer partners and other employers eager to offer returnships.
You will also meet women returners still seeking opportunities.

Women returning to the labour market are an economic, social and political priority. Come along to find out how your organisation can engage and benefit.

The event will be delivered by Equate Scotland Director Talat Yaqoob and Women Returners Programme lead Lesley Macniven, with an address by Jamie Hepburn MSP.

Refreshments will be provided. A finger buffet, teas, coffees, wine and soft drinks will be available from 5.45pm. The event starts at 6.15pm and closes at 8pm.
