Global workspace provider Regus has opened the doors to its first business centre in Lewisham. The deal is further evidence of Regus’ UK network expansion as demand for flexible workspace continues to increase.
The centre, located on Lewisham High Street, occupies three floors (12,800 sq ft) of Romer House.
The site offers a range of flexible working options for businesses and professionals including co-working space, virtual office services, meeting rooms which are bookable by the hour, and over 60 offices of varying sizes.
Regus expects the facility to be popular with a wide range of users including local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in the local area.
The centre is close to Lewisham shopping centre which offers a range of shops and cafes. It also benefits from strong transport links, with easy access to central London by rail, bus and the Docklands Light Railway. London City Airport and Heathrow Airport are also located just a few miles away.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, comments: “Demand for flexible workspace in well-connected locations is on the rise, making Lewisham the perfect fit for Regus. The town is making a name for itself as an attractive business destination which offers excellent value and a prime spot for firms of all sizes looking for a well-connected base outside of central London.”
