Cancer Research UK's Business Beats Cancer Gala Dinner

First launched in Glasgow in 2015, Business Beats Cancer is an annual gala dinner for the business community which aims to raise funds to support Cancer Research UK. The charity receives no Government funding for its life-saving research and relies overwhelmingly on public support.

Cancer Research UK funds almost half of all cancer research in the UK. Thanks to generous supporters, the charity has helped double cancer survival in the last 40 years. Today, 2 in 4 people survive the disease and the charity’s ambition is to see this figure rise to 3 in 4 within the next 20 years.

Cancer Research UK scientists, including those at world-class Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute in Bearsden, Glasgow, are making advances every day in their fight to beat cancer thanks to the investment and funds provided by Cancer Research UK.

Our next Business Beats Cancer annual gala dinner will take place on 22 February 2018 at the Grand Central Hotel, where our supporters will be tasked to beat last year’s fundraising amount of £80,000.
