La Bonne Auberge Executive Chef, Gerry Sharkey wins Best Restaurant Chef Mentor at the first ever mentor awards organised as part of the Hospitality & Catering EXPO.
The awards recognise chefs who have taken time in their careers to train, nurture and develop individuals and teams across the UK hospitality and catering industry.
Gerry Sharkey, Executive Chef, La Bonne Auberge said: “I am thrilled to have won, nothing gives me more pleasure than watching young professionals grow to become the best they can be, it is important to teach them how to prepare and cook fresh food from scratch as it allows more creativity and also teaching them in a live environment at La Bonne Auberge where all dishes are freshly made gives me the opportunity to do this.”
Gerry has been delivering AA rosette quality since 1999 and continues to develop the restaurant with new and innovative menus, styles and concepts. La Bonne Auberge is an established restaurant in Glasgow and celebrated 43 years on Bastille Day (14 July).
