Berlin Trade Mission

Berlin has emerged as a vibrant, creative, cultural city building a reputation for its growing start-up ecosystem.  The city has a culture infused with creativity, openness and transformation with global aspirations.

Glasgow has similar aspirations with an equally vibrant cultural economy, as well as a growing technology sector, and has the potential to be a world-class economy primed for inward investment in addition to supporting the trade and export of key goods and services.

The 2018 European Championships, jointly hosted by Berlin and Glasgow, offers a unique opportunity to foster links in innovation and incubation as well as encourage trade and investment between the two cities.

Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Glasgow City Council and key stakeholders in the city are keen to know from businesses what their appetite would be to participate in a trade mission to Berlin and to understand the type of activities would make being involved an attractive proposition.

We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us.

  • Would you be interested in participating in a trade mission to Berlin in June 2018?
  • Please share with us two areas that would make a trade mission appealing to you?
  • What public sector support would be helpful in enabling your company to participate?

Please send your responses to elaine.rodger@glasgowchamberofcommerce.com at your earliest convenience.
