Based at Wellpark Brewery where the company has been brewing its beer since 1885, The Tennent’s Story will open its doors to the public next month.
Visitors will be able to go behind the scenes to learn about the company’s 130-year history at the site.
City chiefs expect the centre to provide a boost to Glasgow’s tourism figures, another asset to achieve city targets of attracting an extra million visitors per year by 2023.
Group brand director, Alan McGarrie, commented: “The Tennent’s Story is at the heart of Glasgow’s history, and with this significant company investment at our home at Wellpark, we are bringing the story to life – bigger and better than we ever have before, as we showcase the brewery, the beer and the brand.
“Scottish beer appeals to almost a quarter of visitors to Scotland and this investment demonstrates a real commitment to further promoting Scotland’s brewing heritage.”
