RUSK & RUSK, one of Scotland’s leading hospitality groups, has today (Wednesday 26th September) announced the addition of Instagram to its recruitment mix ahead of fourth restaurant, So L.A., opening later this year. A first in Scotland, the group is looking to fill 80 positions across its portfolio of restaurants, including Hutchesons City Grill and The Spanish Butcher.
Ahead of the much-anticipated launch of So L.A., RUSK & RUSK is hiring for a range of jobs, from chefs to front-of-house to management roles. There will be a variety of positions available at all levels for both part-time and full-time staff to work at the Mitchell Street restaurant, bar and events space located in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre.
The business is encouraging applicants to get creative. Hopeful candidates should put their best filter forward, posting an image of their chosen dish or drink on Instagram, with an explanation of why it best describes them. In order to submit their Insta-application, candidates should tag @RUSKANDRUSK in the image.
Louise Rusk, Co-owner of RUSK & RUSK, said, “At RUSK & RUSK we take pride in our aesthetic both on the plate and inside our venues. Our decision to add Instagram as a recruitment channel was fueled by a desire to tap into the vast number of people who express themselves through the platform.”
She continued, “This unique addition to our recruitment strategy allows us to assess applicants’ food knowledge and eye for design, as well as providing us with a taste of their creative flare, skills essential to succeed within RUSK & RUSK.”
Successful candidates will be invited to a recruitment day held at RUSK & RUSK’s head-quarters week commencing Monday 1st October before final offers are made.
As well as this innovative technique, RUSK & RUSK will be taking applications through more traditional means via their website. For more information about the recruitment process and full details on how to apply visit: https://www.ruskandrusk.com/filterfanatics
