Ask most employees what they think of their organisations’ Intranet and you will be met with a collective shake of the head and roll of the eyes. Difficult to navigate and poorly designed, it is not surprising that many Intranets are places to avoid with poor adoption and low workforce engagement.
With the emergence of new digital collaboration tools, are Intranets losing their appeal as the central point of corporate communications, collaboration and centralised document storage?
At Bridgeall, we would probably answer yes to that if the question was about ‘traditional’ Intranets as described above. However, it doesn’t need to be like that. The solution is to modernise rather than dump your existing site.
