Members are asked to complete the latest Scottish Chambers Quarterly Economic Indicator for Q1 2019, and join hundreds of businesses each quarter that take part in anonymously sharing their experience of trading in Scotland. Scottish Chambers of Commerce use the responses gathered in this short survey to analyse and measure the performance of firms in five major sectors across Scotland, and to gain a clearer understanding of business performance and optimism heading into the next quarter.
This is a critical survey as it will be the final one before the UK leaves the European Union on 29 March, we are determined to ensure that the voice of your members are heard and not lost in the whirlwind of news that will likely follow this event.
Your response will help shape Scottish Chambers policy and highlight the concerns of business to key political figures at Holyrood, Westminster and beyond. The results of the Quarterly Economic Indicator are crucial to allow the Chamber network to best use its influence with key decision-makers in order to act in the best interests of chamber members all across the country.
