The CCTP will replace the current City Centre Transport Strategy 2014 to 2024 and provide a clear framework for transport decision-making in Glasgow City Centre and help make it a place where everyone can thrive.
The CCTP ties in with other key policy documents such as the City Centre Strategic Development Plan, Glasgow Transport Strategy, and Active Travel Strategy.
The CCTP sets out a strategy for change with transport having a fundamental role to play by facilitating and supporting initiatives over a 10-year period that will reinforce Glasgow as a world-class city, enhance the experience for residents and visitors and make it a great place to live, work, visit and enjoy.
An online survey launched on Wednesday 27 July and will last until noon on Monday 12 September 2022 and can be accessed at: https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/city-centre-transformation-plan. The draft CCTP and associated documents can also be viewed here.
There will also be a public drop-in session, which will be open to all members of the general public. The public drop-in session will take place between 1pm and 7pm on Thursday 18 August 2022 at the University of Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre, 99 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RD. Everyone is welcome to attend.
