Designated drivers will receive free entry to the OVO Hydro’s Our Moment fan zone which will show all three of Scotland’s Fifa World Cup 2026™ matches on the largest screen in Scotland.
As plans gather pace for the forthcoming matches, the OVO Hydro has announced details of a number of ticket offers including free entry for chaperones who are accompanying a standard priced children’s ticket.
Similar to schemes adopted in the USA for sporting events designated drivers, who are attending with a minimum of three paying tickets, will gain free entry to the event as well as free parking. Meanwhile groups purchasing tickets can receive one free chaperone ticket for every six under-18 tickets booked. All ticket offers are subject to availability.
The chaperone offer is designed to welcome those who are bringing younger fans for one of their first big match experiences, while the designated driver offer will reward those who are ferrying their friends and loved ones to and from the match, but who want to stay and enjoy the action.
This summer, the OVO Hydro will be Scotland’s home from home as it hosts the ultimate fan zone for Scotland’s first appearance at the Fifa World Cup since 1998. With pre-match entertainment and an unmatched shared atmosphere, all three matches against Haiti, Morocco and Brazil, will be broadcast on the OVO Hydro’s giant 20 metre screens – which are the biggest in Scotland.
