Lush has launched its latest bath bomb and it's one that only Glasgow could inspire. ‘Hats Aff’, a brand new bath bomb co-created by the Lush Glasgow team, is now available exclusively at Lush Spa Glasgow City on Buchanan Street. It's a love letter to a city that never takes itself too seriously.
The name is a nod to the Glaswegian tradition surrounding the Duke of Wellington statue in Royal Exchange Square. For decades, locals have crowned the jockey with an orange traffic cone, a tradition so fiercely protected that when the council moved to put a stop to it in 2005, over 10,000 Glaswegians signed a petition to keep it firmly in place, and the cone stayed.
"Our team is so happy to finally have a bath bomb which truly represents this city. To many, this will just be a traffic cone but to us, 'Hats Aff' represents how people truly make Glasgow. The reception received by customers has been amazing and we can't wait to welcome more visitors to grab their very own traffic cone bath bomb!" - Arran Swan, Lush Glasgow City Events Supervisor
Hats Aff bath bomb is priced at £5.50 and available exclusively at Lush Spa Glasgow City. Its scent is inspired by a famous fizzy drink, capturing something unmistakably Scottish: a burst of vibrant citrus and orange, sweet and refreshing with playful, fizzy undertones and a hint of berries. Warm notes of ginger and clove round things out with a cosy, spiced finish. You'll know it when you smell it.
Hats Aff is the second bath bomb co-created by the Lush Glasgow team following Nae Stressie bath bomb, one of their currently best-selling bath bombs in store.
‘People Make Glasgow’ and apparently they make great bath bombs, too.
