Scotland’s first adult fairground games venue, Fayre Play, is set to welcome children through its doors for the first time from Friday 3rd April, as the Glasgow attraction celebrates its third birthday.
Since opening at the beginning of 2023, Fayre Play has welcomed over 250,000 visitors, firmly establishing itself as a go-to destination for dates, nights out, stag and hen parties, and corporate teambuilding events.
Now, for the first time, families will be able to experience the fairground fun together.
From Friday (3 April,) Fayre Play’s iconic fairground games will be open to visitors aged 7+, with children of all-ages welcome in the venue until 6pm (3pm on Saturdays). After this time, the venue will revert back to its much-loved adults-only fairground experience, complete with pumping music, flowing drinks and competitive gameplay.
The venue has also confirmed that from next week, it will open from 11am Thursday-Sunday during school holidays, giving families more opportunities to visit.
As part of the launch, Fayre Play is giving the first 15 children who visit on Friday from 12noon, one of the venue’s much-loved giant plushie ducks, completely free.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Kinning Park Subway station, Fayre Play offers a modern twist on classic fairground games, with iconic plushie duck prizes, delicious food, sweet-topped cocktails and a lively atmosphere.
The venue have also rolled out a brand new cocktail menu for adults, including The Big Dipper & Duck Duck Mangoes.
