Find out moreStep Up to Net Zero supported Glasgow SMEs in their efforts to reach net zero by funding five-month work placements who helped organisations take action towards net zero and circular goals.
Fully funded by Glasgow City Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, this project aimed to support the city’s net zero ambitions and provided employability support for Glasgow’s workforce.
Step Up to Net Zero provided funded support to Glasgow SMEs to take steps towards adopting more circular practices to meet the city’s decarbonisation and net zero targets. Participating organisations were provided with a bespoke Action Plan, and benefited from the support of a five-month funded work placement (16-25 hours per week) to progress this plan.
Participants assisted organisations in implementing an Action Plan, progressing activity that supported the organisations' circular and net zero ambitions. The recommendations set out in each organisation's Action Plan were specific to the individual organisation's needs.
Step Up to Net Zero is on pause for the moment.
