Please find below restrictions relating to Race for Life. FYI, this event was able to take the same route as previous years as the Avenues works did not have a major conflict requiring a change.
Roads affected and dates and times of restriction applying to all vehicles with the exception of an emergency service vehicle carrying out an emergency response or vehicles given permission from Glasgow City Council filming and events section.
The following roads will have a NO WAITING AND NO LOADING OR UNLOADING restrictions from 15:00hrs on 17 May 2025 to 16:00 on 18 May 2025
The same roads will have a PROHIBITION OF DRIVING from 06:00hrs to 16:00hrs on 18 May 2025

“vehicle” unless the context otherwise requires, means a vehicle of any description and includes a machine or implement of any kind drawn or propelled along roads whether or not by mechanical power;
“emergency service vehicle” means a vehicle being used by the Police, Fire or Ambulance Services to also include NHS blood transfer vehicles.
