In 2025 Glasgow Chamber of Commerce led a trade delegation to Singapore for the second consecutive year. Hosted by our outstanding partners at the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, our visit was an exemplar in international collaboration, innovation, and opportunity. From the moment we arrived, the energy in Singapore was palpable.
Glasgow’s global story added a significant new chapter as we stepped onto the international stage once again, this time in Shanghai, as the guest city at the 11th China Shanghai International Technology Fair (CSITF). The invitation, extended by the organising committee of the CSITF, was not just a gesture of friendship, but a recognition of Glasgow’s role as Scotland’s economic powerhouse and a city of innovation.

Our trade mission with SCC to New York City coincided with the city’s Tartan Week – a celebration of Scottish-American culture, relations and business. Delegates from Dram Communications, PPWH, Street Soccer Scotland, Tots United, Angelwax, Trump Turnberry, Scottish Asian Business Chamber, Little White Rose Films Ltd, Violet Media, The Gael Spirits Company, Tethered App and Mint Ventures joined our delegation for a packed few days.
