Being new to the role earlier into 2022 I was keen to engage with the local business community. Taggarts have been a member for several years, so the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce was a natural place to start.
We are all, of course, members to meet people, to network and, ultimately, to do business
Membership has allowed me to meet with other members, and it’s a good ‘shared’ introduction. The WeeG chats, for example, held at the end of every month (the last Friday) are a good, relaxed way to interact. There’s no pressure, you are in your own ‘comfort zone’, and it can be quite fun too.
We recently launched an offer for fellow chamber members, so check out the offers section on the portal. If anyone wants to use the offer, please get in touch.
I am planning to attend some physical ‘in person’ events in the next couple of months, and in the meantime, I look forward to meeting many of you in the next WeeG chat, at the end of September.
We are looking to run an event with the Chamber towards the tail end of the year, at our stunning Jaguar site in Hillington. So, look out for news about that in the coming weeks!
