Why did you join the Chamber?
As a business leader I knew Glasgow Chamber of Commerce membership would be a fundamental part of growing our business and our team, allowing us to connect with networks and other leaders, gaining access to a comprehensive range of business solutions, training and expertise. The Chamber is at the heart of business across Glasgow and we knew we could achieve more by being part of it.
What benefits have you received from membership (eg introductions, attending events, networking, marketing etc)?
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has provided access to a local and international business community, a supportive network and proactive business support and initiatives. This in turn has provided business exposure and access to valuable knowledge and expert advice, particularly with GCC’s alignment with COP26 and the development of the Climate Chamber City. The green agenda is a huge focus for our business, as it is for the Chamber. Membership has provided us with a platform to connect, learn and share with businesses across the globe as we drive towards a sustainable, net zero future.
What are you looking forward to from the Chamber in the future?
It’s a challenging time for business as we navigate our way through a turbulent economic and environmental climate. Connectivity and collaboration have never been more vital. The Chamber provides the perfect platform to share and inspire the creativity and innovation required to develop sustainable, future proofed solutions. No one business has all the answers but together we can drive the change needed to meet our ambitious net zero targets and contribute to a thriving economy.
