Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2024 takes place from 4 to 8 March.
The theme for the campaign is Skills Generation, with activity that aims to demonstrate the value of vital skills generated through work-based learning.
Employers generate apprenticeship opportunities, so people get the skills they need, now and in the future.
Learning providers support apprenticeships to generate skilled and productive employees.

Tyler Buchan, Space Solutions
Tyler’s apprenticeship experience began in August 2022. After finishing high school, he considered whether a full-time university course was what he wanted to pursue. He first became aware of the possibility of a graduate apprenticeship from a schoolteacher. With further exploration, Tyler recognised this route offered the opportunity to gain valuable, practical work experience alongside a BSc Construction and the Built Environment degree from Heriot-Watt University.
