A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting New College Lanarkshire in Motherwell to speak with a group of aspiring entrepreneurs about Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. What stood out to me was that, for many of them, this was the first time they had even heard of the Chamber.
It was a timely reminder that while we are well established within Glasgow’s business landscape, there’s still important work to be done in reaching the next generation of business leaders. These were students and early-stage entrepreneurs full of ideas, energy, and ambition, but wanted to know more about the support available to them.
Having the opportunity to introduce them to what the Chamber offers, from networking and our Members' Portal, to our Circular Network and International Trade opportunities and everything else in between! Allowing them to hear about this for the first time was quite exciting! We often speak about helping businesses grow, but that journey starts well before someone launches their first venture. It starts with awareness, connection, and confidence.
