Job Description

You’ll report to the Senior Creative Learning Manager You’ll also work closely with the Creative Learning Officer, and the rest of the Glasgow Theatres Venue team.

You will work with the Creative Learning team to support the planning and delivery of inspiring and impactful participation projects to people of all ages. You’ll work across departments, gaining experience in multiple positions to create a rounded understanding of how the venue operates.

Please note this is a work placement opportunity for the duration of 26 weeks 

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake admin tasks for Creative Learning and Customer Experience departments
• Shadow facilitators in workshops for young people
• Gain a practical understanding of job roles within the Customer Experience team, including undertaking some bar and ushering shifts
• Work with marketing and ticketing departments to gain an understanding of sales
• Attend risk management meetings
• Update venue diaries to aid communications
• Any other duties as necessary

• Passion for performing arts
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Very organised and good at multi-tasking

Desirable

• Good written communication skills
