Job Description

The Business Support Administrator will play a pivotal role in optimising Green Fulfilment 3PL's operations and enhancing our service delivery. By providing comprehensive administrative support, the role will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business, enabling us to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives to support the seamless operation of our fulfilment services and align with our commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction.

 

Please note this placement is a work placement opportunity for the duration of 26 weeks 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Data Management: Input and maintain accurate data into company systems, generate reports, and conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to the customer service team by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Document Management: Organise and maintain electronic and physical documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Project Support: Assist in various projects as required, providing administrative support and coordinating tasks.
  • Report Generation: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports using relevant data sources and analysis tools.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Basic IT Skills: Proficiency in using standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Numeracy and Literacy: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in data entry and document management.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities and work assignments.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to attendance.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous Administrative Experience: Experience in an office environment or customer service role.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to interpret data and draw basic conclusions.
  • Process Improvement Knowledge: Understanding of process improvement methodologies.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.

Number of Hours Per Week 22.5 hours per week for 26 weeks

Working pattern and contracted hours (including any shift patterns)
3 Days x 7.5 Hour + 1 Hour unpaid break
