Job Description
As the Social Media and Marketing Assistant, you will be part of a team delivering a positive and engaging experience for people using Sense Scotland’s digital channels: websites, social media, Mailchimp and other digital platforms. This includes contributing to the planning processes, tailoring content to suit different audiences and analysing performance to ensure best value for the organisation.
You will work on promoting Mecoco, part of Sense Scotland, a charitable enterprise which makes candles, wax melts and diffusers for sale, while also providing work experience opportunities for adults with complex disabilities as well as supporting promotion for our seasonal trading. The role would also involve supporting the wider tasks of our Communications team in sharing the experiences, achievements and views of people with complex disabilities, their families and our staff. It could also involve taking on occasional tasks within the Fundraising team to support with administration tasks or events.
Please note this placement is a work placement opportunity for the duration of 26 weeks
