Stuart became a Director of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in January 2010. He has been employed by Clydesdale Bank since leaving school in 1988 where he has carried out a wide variety of different roles. He is currently a Senior Partner in the Payments Solutions Division responsible for running a team of Payments Partners across Scotland based from the Glasgow Financial Solutions Centre. In this role, Stuart & his team provide Merchant Services and Electronic Banking Solutions to Business Customers ranging from SMEs to Corporate clients.
During his time in the bank he has built up a wealth of experience having previously been a Business Development Manager in Business Banking, a Branch Manager and also an Area Manager looking after branches in the Retail network. He also spent time in Marketing, Business to Business, Finance and Credit functions. Stuart is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and has also been a Director of the Clydesdale Bank Pension Scheme.
