Glasgow Chamber of Commerce will be leading a trade delegation to Shanghai on 11-13 June as the guest city for the China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF).
The focus of this international event this year will be on manufacturing, biomedical science, green and low-carbon energy, AI and AR, robotics, maritime, shipping and will highlight opportunities in tidal energy, marine technology, shipbuilding, navigation control systems, hydrogen storage and clean energy. The CSITF will also attract and invite related investors and angel funds.
Glasgow will celebrate its 850th anniversary this year and the 11th CSITF will act as an international satellite celebration event, to promote the city in Shanghai to organisations and businesses in China and from other countries and showcase the city region’s world class technology capability, innovations and opportunities. We are keen to ensure maximum outcomes from this unique offer from CSITF and we would like to make sure that we involve as many of our corporates and organisations with a strong interest in tech and China as well as having representation from some of our most promising tech scale ups.
The organising team at the CSITF will provide high level b2b matching for our delegates depending on your business aspirations in China and support includes a Glasgow branded stand, a closed-door high-end forum with special slots for the speakers from Glasgow with specific investment discussions and meetings with relevant Chinese businesses. In addition, our own in market expert Ms Xiang Li who is working on the project for us can assist you with any specific requirements you may have in Shanghai before, during and after CSITF.
